Movie Night and Club Elections!

This Thursday, March 22, at 7pm in Café Alt (basement of Simard), University of Ottawa Students for Life is showing the award-winning documentary “The Human Experience.” Popcorn and great people guaranteed! Following the movie, we will have our AGM to vote on constitutional amendments, after which we will proceed with our executive elections. If you would like to nominate yourself for a position, send us an email at info@uosfl.ca

Come one, come all, for one of the final events of the year!

I’m really undecided on abortion and I hope this doc. will help bring insight into my struggle. Being a dude, it’s hard to voice any opinion on the matter as we get shouted down by both sides very quickly, often regardless of position. So help me out, on one hand I’m all for killing babies willy-nilly, but I’m not so sure about this giving women choice thing. See you guys there!

      Hello KiltMan,
The date of the event was March 22, so unfortunately you’ve missed it. If you would like to borrow the documentary or other resources (such as this one), send us an email at info@uosfl.ca to let us know and we’ll find a way to lend you a copy. For more insight on abortion, have a look around our blog and check out sites like http://www.abortionincanada.ca/ and http://www.thesignalhill.com/information/abortion/ and the page on men at http://theunchoice.com/men.htm. We appreciate your interest and believe nobody should be silenced. Abortion certainly affects women and men differently, but it is a human rights issue and everyone should take the time to inform themselves.
